Ranked #129 out of 4000 universities on US News and Ranking

Tien took a variety of AP and SUPA courses during her last two years at ISHCMC - American Academy. Tien chose to attend University of Kentucky in Lexington after winning a competitive scholarship. The Class of 2014 Valedictorian, she is simultaneously pursuing two paths of study: Architecture and Pre-Medical.

“SUPA classes were the best preparation for college, because not only did I get ahead, but I also learned what it was like to do university-level coursework, to be independent with my studies, and to pace myself to meet deadlines," said Tien.

“I remember when {Tien} was applying to colleges and universities in the United States. Different university admissions representatives were calling me, asking me, ‘What would Tien need to choose my university?’ She was accepted to multiple schools with strong programs, and we talked often during the decision time as she weighed the benefits of each choice. It’s encouraging to see that she chose a school and program that is a good fit for her. I am looking forward to seeing her again this summer,”says Ms. Carreiro Deputy Head of School at ISHCMC – American Academy.
