Amy Swenson has been an educator for over 23 years and has had experience teaching in 4 different countries before moving to Vietnam. She has been a teacher in the USA, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Brazil and is now joining us here at ISHCMC – American Academy as a language support teacher.

Amy is passionate about helping children learn and grow as they prepare for the future.
She spends time getting to know each student and helps meet their individual needs. Amy enjoys spending time at her cabin on the lake in Minnesota, USA during her summer holidays. Fun fact about Minnesota. They have over 10,000 lakes! Amy has one daughter who is in her second year of college at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. It is no surprise that she is going to school to become an educator like her father and mother.
