Meet Our Counselor – Ms. Thao Nguyen

At the heart of our college & university counseling program is Ms. Thao, an experienced and globally certified college counselor who combines professional expertise with genuine care for each student’s journey.

Qualifications:

  • MA in Business Administration, High Honors, Oklahoma City University, USA
  • BA in Education Management, Honors, University of Social Sciences & Humanities, Vietnam
  • Specialized Certificate in College Counseling, UC San Diego, USA
  • Certified School Career Development Advisor, National Career Development Association (USA)
  • Certified UK Counselor, British Council

With her international background and deep understanding of student development, Ms. Thao ensures that every ISHCMC–AA student is guided with insight, empathy, and direction.

PATHWAY

How the AP Curriculum Prepares Students for University

At ISHCMC–AA, students follow the Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum — a rigorous academic program designed by the College Board in the U.S. AP courses allow students to:

  • Study university-level subjects in high school
  • Earn credits recognized by universities worldwide
  • Explore personal interests while building academic confidence
  • Graduate with a competitive edge for admissions

Through AP, students develop independence, discipline, and the readiness to excel in any higher-education environment.
